One of the best parts about collage is sourcing the images. Whether it is a tattered book cover from a yard sale, an old painting from a thrift store or a vintage cabinet card from the 1800’s, the thrill of the hunt is a big part of collage. That is what led me to create the Collage Cohort Collage Melange Cutout Books. These books are designed with artists, crafters and creatives in mind. Whether you make fine art collages or assemblages, scrap books, decoupage or junk journals, the Collage Melange book series was made for you. Each book is filled with a variety of new and different images, colors and textures meant for reuse in your creative endeavors. The pages contain images such as vintage photographs, illustrations, background textures, and text. There are also finished collages I have created for inspiration. The possibilities are endless with a few simple tools such as scissors, glue, a substrate, any or all of the Collage Melange books and your imagination.
